1. Flout: To show contempt for; Scorn
-If you flout class rules you will expect punishment!
2. Caveat: A warning or caution
-We gave him a caveat for the up coming car.
3. Blazon: To describe in proper terms.
4. Filch: To take something in a furtive manner
- I saw him filch the teachers pencil.
5. Fractious: Inclined to make trouble
- He talks back fractious.
6. Equitable: Marked by
- The divorce was equitable.
7. Autonomy: Condition or quality
- My grandma has autonomy to help other people.
8. Addendum: Something added or to be added
- By making good choices you addendum benefits.
9. Amnesty: A general pardon granted by a government
-In the amnesty of 1985 for many illegal people.
10. Axiomatic: Self-evident or unquestionable
- The act of paying our taxes is axiomatic.
11. Extricate: Released from entanglement or difficulty
- I Am relieved that I am extricated of a lost book.
12. Soporific: Tending to induce drowsiness or sleep
- The hot weather gets me soporific.
13. Scathing: harmful or painful
- Global warming is very scathing to our world.
14. Unwieldy: Difficult to carry or move because of size.
- The t.v was very unwieldy.
15. Vapid: Offering with out stimulating or challenging.
- Tutoring is vapid.
16. Prognosticate: To predict according to signs.
- Vomiting, nausea, tiredness, gaining weight, prognosticated she was pregnant.
17. Sepulchral: Of or relating to a burial vault.
- She had a sepulchral when her father died.
18. Salutary: Producing good affects
-Our visit to her at the hospital made her salutary.
19. Straitlaced: Exaggeratedly proper
- Judges operate their courtroom in a straitlaced manner.
20. Scourage: Is used to attract.
- Scourage is used as instrument of punishment.
21. Percept: General rule intended to regulate behavior/thought.
- Working has been my percept
22. Transient: Lasting for short time
- Nature is transient.
